Comedian, rock n roll band manager and ex-jocky Bob Slayer has a reputation for causing chaos wherever he goes, so he decided to get himself suitable transport to make it easier to do so.
A regular at the Edinburgh Fringe, he has played host to some of the most talked about nights held in a variety of make shift venues. His idea to bring his own venue with him, by buying an old London bus and converting it into comedy club, reflects his mad genius.
Paintshop were asked for a suitable vibrant design with Bob himself on the back of the bus. We painted the comedy bus in-situ at the Croydon Comedy Festival to build anticipation and interest ready for its big debut during the festival itself.
It’s not often our artwork moves but it hasn’t slowed down since and tours all around the country, even popping overseas to Norway.
